Over two mornings in the second week of the July school holidays everyone had fun.
Games, craft and all the excitement of a live TV studio captivated kids from Reception to year 8.
The TV Studio host - "3D" - was a great anchor for the show, controlling the interviews with the visiting celebrities and experts, along with managing the "Back-in-time" film crew, like a real pro.
We uncovered some new talent in front of the cameras. A highlight was standing before the green screen and making television advertisements.
The popular song "Living to the MAX" became the theme song for the show.
Humorous weather reports, live crosses to the "Back-in-time" film crew, "words from the sponsor", joke competitions, and investigation of events as recorded in the book of Acts all added depth to the show.
Can we do it all again next year? If the reports from the kids and their parents are any indication, we certainly should.
Thanks go to the team of 19 from ten churches, Dave Boxall for the loan of cabling and video mixing gear, Enabled Solutions for a loan of their camera, green screen and Director to manage the video mixing, Ron for operating his camera - and all the kids that made the fun possible.
